Kentucky STATE Fair

Weeks have flown by and the Ky STATE fair competition was wonderful- My Dr. Dollittle won first place in 1:12 scale dolls and the winery - 2nd place in Kentucky Themed Vignettes.

My husband and I also have a large Farmer's Market Garden(s)
now we are talking winners- you will see here our winning Best  Vegetable Collection entry ( what a beautiful best of show ribbon it won) I can now declare my husband to be the #1 Grower in Kentucky of Halloween Pumpkins.. of our 20 plus entries into competition- we were ribbon winners in all but one category.. amazing! Lots of blues!!!! Nothing like seeing that first place ribbon!

Dayton, Ohio Miniature Show

Just a few pictures of the Three Blind Mice Show in Dayton, Ohio held this past weekend. Great exhibits were on display, 7 people joined NAME,meet lots of new people and always have fun visiting with everyone!

A car load of exhibits, I shall take to Louisville Saturday morning. My club members have entered their wonderful miniature projects... then I travel to a miniature show in Ohio, ad a trip to see my niece in her Junior Miss pageant. A full weekend of fun!

If I haven't mentioned it... I now am a member of the NAME Board of Trustees- Member at Large- Fund Raising. I still remain my A-3 Region's Coordinator, soAugust is a full month of mini activities!

Seattle 2010 NAME Convention

Club Meeting in Louisville

I am soon leaving for the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts ( NAME) National Convention to be held in Seattle.  Meeting to attend, sales room to "shop till I drop", seminars, sightseeing, exhibits to be seen, and lots of fun meeting new NAME members and visting with NAME members who I have not seen in over a year.

I wanted to share some pictures from the Louisville Club which I visited and shared NAME news with them - as a Regional Coordinator for NAME, I have met wonderful, creative people who have made my enthusiasm for NAME grow even more.
