I think I have been busy...

I must admit, for the past 4 weeks, I have just been in a whirling and twirling state of mind.
Maybe pictures will bring you up to date...

The annual miniature exhibit at the Kentucky Horse Park for the " Southern Lights" event in
Lexington, Kentucky was set up just prior to Thanksgiving and ended just after the first of the year.

Christmas was wonderful....  filled with our family traditions and most of all being together.

I said that 2014 will be a year for me to whirl and twirl.
2013 was a year that just needs to be forgotten.

I continue my passion for reading and growing.

and then I caught a horrible winter cold and am, just today, beginning to feel like I want to think about Spring.

so a few more days and I shall be back to being creative, attending meetings, traveling and whirling and twirling.

My first solo- one lady miniature exhibit

Tomorrow is my first ever- solo- one lady miniature exhibit. This is my Kentucky Derby Hat Shoppe. A project which will go on forever. The shoppe was made by "Bluette". $200 worth of raffle tickets at the NAME Reston Houseparty, several years ago, declared me the winner. Yes, I really wanted this shoppe! Plus the money went to a good cause, NAME! So tomorrow it makes its first public appearance. I have about 30 exhibits to put on display, meet and greet people for 5 hours, do a make and take and share my love for this world of mini things. What a great way to celebrate National Dollhouse Month!

I am grateful that the experiences of life,
some good, some bad, some happy, some sad, some big , some small, all combined have today made me a successful and happy woman. To each of you, who have been a part of my life, I am grateful. Be blessed.

Dollhouse Appearance at Fashion Week

If I had been at Fashion Week, how would I have reacted when this model took the runway?

and tomorrow night I shall be doing the same,
which broom will I ride.
My YES agency joins EKU
for a bit of trick or treat madness.
